Bus 600 from Helsinki Airport to the city center is a legitimate alternative to the airport train. Finavia gives the journey at approximately 40 minutes. It does not continue to Seurasaari, so you must still transfer in central Helsinki and take bus 24 or tram 4.
A taxi makes sense in severe weather, with small children, limited mobility or difficult luggage. Ask for the Seurasaari bridge at the end of Seurasaarentie. A taxi cannot take ordinary visitors across the pedestrian bridge or into the island.

Do not stop on the mainland because the museum buildings are not immediately obvious. Cross the bridge fully and continue onto Seurasaari. The museum’s ticket kiosk is located by the bridge, and tickets can also be purchased from the museum shop in Iisalmi Parsonage.
